Fill out the personal information sheet.
Buy the textbook and finish reading Chapter 1.
Get a computer account if you don't have one yet.
Get familiar with text editors such as
- UNIX: vi, emacs, jove, etc.
- PC: edit, pe2, notepad, wordpad, etc. (If you want to use PC for your homework, make sure you have a working C compiler.)
