New Tools and New Functionality

Cmicro Package

SDT 3.02 features a new tool that may be used as an extension to SDT's C Code Generator, when you are to build applications that will execute in a target system providing limited memory resources.

The Cmicro Package produces a highly optimized and compact "C" program from your SDL system. However, the user encounters minor restrictions on the use of SDL constructs.

The Cmicro Package consists of

The Cmicro Generator,
The Cmicro Library, and
The Cmicro Tester.

The Cmicro Generator is integrated with the SDT graphical environment and is available as an optional tool together with the Cmicro Library.

The Cmicro Tester allows testing and debugging of the generated SDL system while running on the target. A prerequisite is a communications link to a host system. The Cmicro Tester is an optional part of the Cmicro Package.

The product is the result of a technical and marketing co-operation between Telelogic and our German distributor, S&P Media. The Cmicro Package must be ordered separately from SDT.
