Objectives:
| The objective of this course is to strengthen the
research capability of graduate students in the field of multimedia database
systems. Most recent papers from the top-tier conferences and journals
will be presented and discussed thoroughly in the class. The related
conventional database and information retrieval techniques are reviewed to
enrich the students' background and improve their research performance.
Class participation is highly encouraged to carry out sensational
realization of the recent technology development. |
